MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Some 56 percent of UK citizens answering a questionnaire mention immigration among the most crucial issues the country currently faces, an Ipsos MORI poll revealed Wednesday.
Some 40 percent of those surveyed said that migration was the single most important issue the country faces, a 6-percent increase over last month.
According to the pollster, aside from migration, people in the United Kingdom are concerned about National Health Service (NHS) problems and the country's economy.
Europe is currently struggling with its largest migrant crisis since World War II. According to the European Commission some 500,000 people from the Middle East and North Africa have arrived in the bloc since the beginning of 2015.
