KIEV (Sputnik) — Poroshenko had a meeting with his French counterpart prior to the meeting of the Normandy Quartet in Paris on Friday.
"Petro Poroshenko has invited Francois Hollande to pay an official visit to Ukraine. The invitation has been accepted," the press service said in a statement.
According to the press service, the two leaders discussed the situation in Donbasa and Crimea, and emphasized the necessity of reforming the UN Security Council.
The issue of Ukraine's visa-free regime with the European Union was also discussed.
