Ruling Center-Right Coalition Can Win Portugal Elections – Exit Poll
19:22 GMT 04.10.2015 (Updated: 19:33 GMT 04.10.2015) The ruling center-right Portugal Alliance (PaF), led by Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho, has chances to gain absolute majority in the Portugal parliament, exit polls revealed on Sunday.
MADRID (Sputnik) — According to the exit polls by the RTP TV channel, a coalition between the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the Democratic and Social Center – People’s Party (CDS-PP) could get up to 43 percent of votes that could give it some 108-116 seats in the 230-strong local parliament.

The Socialist Party (PS) could secure 80-88 seats as polls predict it some 30-35 percent of votes.
The Democratic Unity Coalition was supported by some 7-9 percent of the voters (13-17 seats) while the Left Block gathered some 8-11 percent (16-20 seats)
Members of the Portuguese government are elected for the four-year term.
