MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) told Sputnik on Sunday it was not yet giving any details regarding the victims of the deadly bombing of its hospital in the northern Afghan city of Kunduz.
"The MSF, out of respect to deceased, is not releasing any further information for the time being," the MSF press office said when asked to name the victims and provide more information on the incident.
On Saturday, the hospital accommodating some 200 people was bombed leaving at least 19 dead, including three children, 37 injured and dozens missing.
Washington and Kabul have launched a joint investigation into the bombing. US President Barack Obama said Washington would wait for the results of the inquiry before drawing final conclusions.
On Sunday, the hospital halted its operations in Kunduz.
