MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Moscow-based Interstate Aviation Committee (MAK) said Tuesday it had proposed that plane crashes with large casualty numbers be investigated by international commissions under the auspices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
"MAK also suggested ICAO develops an effective system of monitoring the implementation of countries' obligations in ensuring the safety of international civil aviation in their airspace," MAK said in a statement.
