"In Syria, coalition military forces conducted eight strikes using remotely piloted and fighter aircraft," CENTCOM stated.
The airstrikes in Syria destroyed four Islamic State tactical units, six vehicles and a fighting position, according to the release.
In Iraq, the coalition launched 17 airstrikes that eliminated seven Islamic State tactical units, three vehicles, 23 fighting positions and five staging areas.
Meanwhile, Russia has also continued its airstrikes campaign against the Islamic State in Syria.
A Syrian military source said on Thursday that Abu Bakr al-Shishani, leader of Jaish al-Sham terrorist group, has been killed in a Russian airstrike in the Homs province.
Since the beginning of the Russian air campaign on September 30, the Russian Air Force has carried out about 500 airstrikes, killing some 300 militants and destroying numerous command centers, training camps and ammunition depots.
