MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Washington's refusal to meet with a Russian delegation for negotiations on Syria was a foolish move, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Friday.
"I will say this: I think this is foolish behavior," Medvedev said in an interview with Russia-1 television.
"With such decisions, refusals to negotiate, the Americans are simply showcasing their weakness. After all, it is clear that the result of their activities on fighting ISIL in this region is close to zero, ISIL continues to expand. Only Russia's intervention changed the situation," he added.
