Modern artist Amit Shimoni created a series of funny drawings called "Hipstory." If you thought Angela Merkel couldn’t be cool, take a look at the pictures and you’ll be surprised.

With his funny drawings Shimoni transforms historical and modern political figures into cool dandies with piercings and wild hair.

What the great people throughout history, like Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr., were apparently really missing, are not modern technologies or high-tech devices, but a little bit of fashion and cool hipster stores.
