ANKARA (Sputnik) — On October 10, twin suicide bomb blasts outside a central train station in Ankara, killed 102 attendees of a peaceful anti-war march intended to call attention to the recent surge of violence in the Turkey-Kurdish conflict in the country’s south-east.
"One suicide bomber's identity was established. The identification of the second one continues," Davutoglu said in an interview with local Ahaber broadcaster.
He added that 15 people had been detained on suspicion of involvement in the terrorist attack, four of whom were arrested.
No responsibility has been claimed in the killings. Davutoglu, however, suggested earlier that the suicide attacks could have been carried out by either the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) or the Islamic State jihadist group.
