Kobi Tzafrir, the owner of Humus bar in the Israeli town of Kfar Vitkin, hopes to bring peace to his country by offering a 50 percent discount to Jewish and Arab citizens who come to dine together to his café.
"With us we don't have Arabs! But we also don't have Jews… With us we've got human beings! Real excellent Arab hummus! Excellent Jewish falafel!," Tzafrir posted his offer on Facebook on Monday evening. Soon his post went viral and had been shared over 1,000 times, Al Jazeera said.

Tzafrir said his main goal was to show that despite the ongoing inter-ethnic violence in Israel, there are a lot of Arabs and Jews who aren't taking part in violence.
"We want to show that we're all human beings, just like each other, not so different," the man told Al Jazeera.
Meanwhile, the ongoing violence has resulted in the death of at least 44 Palestinians and eight Israelis since the beginning of the month.
