MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia needs to unify its registries on HIV-infected individuals around the nation to standardize statistics, Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova said Friday.
“We need to create a unified federal registry of all HIV-infected individuals now, which would allow us to optimize the distribution of all our capabilities, as well as our diagnostic and care capabilities, that will standardize all of our statistics that would give access to international structures with the same statistics,”Skvortsova said during a ministerial meeting headed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
