TEL AVIV (Sputnik) — Hebron is a Palestinian city located in the disputed West Bank. Several hundreds of Israelis are living there neighboring thousands of Palestinians.
“A terrorist woman, Arab by origin, tried to stab a border police officer near Hebron city. He opened fire and shot the terrorist,” a police spokesman said without specifying whether the attacker was killed or wounded.
A recent wave of violence between Palestinians and Israelis has claimed the lives of over 55 people in recent weeks.
