KHARKIV (Sputnik) – Gennady Kernes, incumbent mayor of Kharkov, Ukraine's second largest city is gaining 59.3 percent of the vote winning in the first round of mayoral elections, according to an exit poll conducted for the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU).
Kernes is followed by Taras Sitenko, a candidate from the Samopomich party.
