KIEV (Sputnik) – On Sunday, Ukrainian went to poll to elect local mayors and some 11,000 councils.
According to an exit poll conducted for the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (CVU), Klitschko is followed by Volodymyr Bondarenko, a candidate from the Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) Party, who gained 8.7 percent. Former Kiev Mayor Oleksandr Omelchenko from the Unity Party comes third with 8.1 percent.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that it had received over 340 notifications of violations during Sunday's local elections.
The elections have been observed by more than 1,500 international participants.
The elections' vote count will be finished by November 4 and the results should be published within 5 days.
