MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Iran has confirmed it will participate in the Syrian crisis talks slated for October 30 in Vienna, the Iranian Parliament News Agency reported Wednesday.
“This meeting has a target of finding a solution to the Syrian crisis and will have great influence, and Iran will undoubtedly participate in it,” Hussein Subhaninia, the deputy chair of Iran’s national security and foreign policy committee, was quoted by the agency as saying.
On Thursday, the top diplomats from Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey will convene in Vienna, Austria, to discuss the Syrian crisis.
