BEIRUT (Sputnik) — According to the source, Bassil will hold bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Thursday.
"Lebanon has accepted Russia's invitation to take part in the Vienna meeting," the source said.
Earlier, Iran and Egypt have confirmed participation in the talks on Friday.
The Russian, US, Turkish and Saudi top diplomats will meet a day earlier to discuss the Syrian crisis.
