MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The US Senate early on Friday gave final approval to the budget deal allowing the United States to avert a debt default on November 3 by increasing the US federal borrowing limit, or the debt ceiling, through March 2017, local media reported on Friday.
On Monday night, US congressional leaders and the White House came to a preliminary agreement on the deal providing $80 billion in sequester relief for two years to be equally divided between military and other public expenditure.
