MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the ministry, among the new aircraft under the command's control are Su-34 Fullback fighter bombers, Su-30SM Flanker multi-role fighters and Mi-8AMTSh Terminator assault transport helicopters.
It was mentioned in the statement that the command expects to receive a total number of 35 pieces of modern military aerial equipment by year-end.
Russia is currently implementing a $325-billion rearmament program to modernize 70 percent of its military's weaponry by 2020.
