“Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov and Rosaviatsia Head Alexander Neradko, as well as Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov take off from Cairo to the place of the flight accident with Kogalymavia A321 airliner to take a look at the situation on site,” the spokesman told RIA Novosti.
Specialists of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) would take part in the investigation into the crash of a Russian airliner in Egypt, as well as in the decoding of the black boxes, the head of Rosaviatsia Alexander Neradko said.
"Rosaviatsia specialists will participate in the investigation of circumstances and causes of the accident under the international rules… The state whose airline company's plane met with the flight accident has the right to take part in the investigation [of the accident]".
On Saturday, the Russian Kogalymavia Airbus A321 passenger airliner, with 217 passengers and seven crew members on board, crashed in Egypt, leaving no survivors.
