DAMASCUS (Sputnik) – The statement was published after talks between Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem and UN envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura in Damascus.
"Syria refutes all allegations and lies promoted by some hostile and conspiring mediums on the random use of weapons in the efforts exerted to combat terrorism," the SANA outlet quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
The Doctors Without Borders (MSF) aid agency accused Syria of killing 70 people and injuring over 550 in late Friday bombing in the Damascus province of Douma. The organization specified that it witnessed only the aftermath of the attack without the ability to identify the equipment used.
Syrian government forces insist they were targeting militant positions and not civilians.
