KIEV (Sputnik) — Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov, heading the government's commission on investion into the A321 plane crash, stated that Belarus and Ukraine could take part in the probe as Ukrainian and Belarusian citizens were among victims of the crash.
"The National Bureau of Air Accidents Investigation has informed the Egyptian side that we are ready to send an expert to participate in investigation of the event," the press service told RIA Novosti.
The Russian Kogalymavia A321 passenger airliner crashed en route from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg on Saturday. All 224 people on board, including 25 children, were killed. The tragedy is the largest air disaster in Russian and Soviet history.
