On Saturday, Airbus A-321 operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia crashed in the Sinai Peninsula en route from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg. All 224 people on board, including 25 children, were confirmed dead by Russian and Egyptian authorities.

Kogalymavia Confirms Crashed Russian Airliner's Tail Part Was Damaged
CAIRO (Sputnik) – The in-flight recorders from the ill-fated Russian A-321 passenger aircraft that crashed over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula over the weekend are “in good condition,” Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov said Monday.

“[The black boxes] are in good condition,” Puchkov said.
