WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The army chief of staff went on to characterize Russian behavior as "adversarial to the interests of the United States," but would not call Russia an enemy.
"I would argue that our capabilities today are plenty good enough to deal with anything Russia has," Milley said when asked if the United States could beat Russia in a ground war.
In July, Milley cited Russia as the top existential threat to the United States during his confirmation hearing before the US Senate.
