The fog just became some kind of a natural disaster for the British capital’s airports for the last two days, forcing Heathrow Airport to issue a warning of potential disruption to flights. Pilots have to take off and land in the conditions of near zero-visibility.
This act of nature is known as “radiation fog,” and usually takes place in hours before sunrise, media reported. But this particular occurrence has broken the record as it lasted for more than two days in a row.
