MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Terzic observed that a corresponding memorandum on the doubling of Banatski Dvor's capacity to potentially store up to 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas was signed during a recent visit by Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic to Russia.
Last week, Vucic arrived in Moscow for a three-day visit, where he met counterpart Dmitry Medvedev and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We are preparing the deals to expand the gas storage in Banatski Dvor, there will be a new gas storage in Itebej, a large amount of Russian gas can be stored there and this will be a factor of energy stability," Slavenko Terzic said, adding that an agreement on Banatski Dvor storage may be signed by the end of the year.
