Mystery of Russian Airbus A321 Crash: All Possible Causes of Tragedy
US media said on Monday that a midair heat flash was detected by a US military satellite over the Sinai Peninsula at the time of the Russian jet crash. US intelligence analysts believed the flash could have been a bomb exploding or a fuel tank detonating after an explosive blast, according to the reports.

On October 31, an Airbus A321, operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia, crashed in the Sinai Peninsula while flying from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg.

The tragedy is the largest civil aviation disaster in Russian and Soviet history.
