MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Shoigu said during a selective video meeting:
“As a whole, the results of the training showed the high combat readiness of the strategic nuclear forces and the complexes of long-distance precision weaponry.”
The exercises at the end of October included forces from the Southern Military District, the North and Pacific fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, Strategic Missile Forces, and Far East aviation.
“The practice launces of ballistic and cruise missiles utilized all of the components of Russia’s nuclear triad,” Shoigu added.
