LONDON (Sputnik) – Britain's aviation authorities, Department of Transport and intelligence agency representatives, including Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism (OSCT) Director Charles Farr, are in attendance.
A UK Defense Ministry told RIA Novosti earlier Wednesday its aviation experts arrived in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El-Sheikh to assess the safety of its airport and flights bound for the United Kingdom.
Downing Street said in a statement earlier in the day all flights from Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport en route to the United Kingdom were delayed, citing speculation that the Russian Kogalymavia flight 7K9268 "may well have been" brought down by a bomb.
