DUBAI (Sputnik) – Russian Helicopters company is holding talks with its United Arab Emirates (UAE) partners on a possibility of launching joint helicopter manufacturing projects, the company’s director general Alexander Mikheev said Sunday.
“We are holding talks and see that here we can make several major, interesting investment programs together with the local partners, which are ready to open their market for our joint helicopter projects in the future,” Mikheev said during the airshow in Dubai.
Russian Helicopters is a leading helicopter design and manufacturing company, headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Russian Helicopters is part of the Rostec state technologies corporation.
The holding was founded in 2007, and includes five helicopter plants, two design bureaus, and enterprises for the production and maintenance of components, an aircraft repair plant and a service company that provides after-sales support in Russia and abroad.
