WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier on Monday, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said an act of terrorism could be the reason behind the incident.
“The Egyptians and the Russians are leading this investigation,” Earnest said. “When we have information we can share with them, we are doing that.”
On October 31, an Airbus A321 operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia crashed in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. All 224 people on board were killed. The crash has become the largest civil aviation disaster in Russian and Soviet history.
