SOCHI (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Emir of Kuwait Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a number of accords, in particular on cooperation in transport, culture and investment.
Moreover, the sides sealed an agreement on a visa-free regime for diplomatic and official passport holders.
The Russian Transport Ministry and the Kuwaiti Communications Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in transport, while the Russian Culture Ministry and the National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature of Kuwait inked a similar document on cultural exchanges.
