MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Israeli Ministry of Tourism will spend two million euros ($2.1 million) on a campaign to promote the country as a tourist destination to Russian citizens, an assistant to the director general of the Ministry of Tourism, Neta Briskin-Peleg, said Tuesday.
"We will continue our promotion campaign in Russia, this is a campaign costing 2 million euros, it includes a campaign in the Internet, Outdoor, in movie theaters, on television, billboards, in order to increase interest and demand," Briskin told RIA Novosti.
According to Briskin, a workshop under the banner "Where else" will be organized in Israel in December to acquaint tour operators and agencies, that had not previously sold tours to Israel, with what the country has to offer.
