PARIS (Sputnik) – A series to terrorist attacks took Place in the French capital on Friday, killing at least 60 people and resulting in a hostage situation at the Bataclan concert hall, which is not far from the former offices of the Charlie Hebdo magazine that came under attack in January.
"We have no information on casualties, if we do get it, it will be no earlier than this morning," an embassy representative told RIA Novosti.
French President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency and said the French borders would be closed after the attacks.
