VIENNA (Sputnik) – A series of terror attacks that shook the French capital Paris will have influence on the Syrian talks in Vienna, but the meeting will take place anyway, Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz said Friday.
"Of course, the attacks in Paris will affect these Syrian talks that are taking place in Vienna, but they will take place anyway. Of course, security measures will be significantly boosted," Kurz told reporters.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said earlier on Saturday the meeting will begin with a French Foreign Ministry update on the situation in Paris.
