MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said the IAAF activities may be suspended, and athletics may be excluded from the program of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
"We will continue to work alongside WADA with whom we developed the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) to review its processes and, if any failings are found, redress them and we have already begun a root and branch reform program within the IAAF," Turner told R-Sport on Sunday.
On Monday, a WADA-initiated independent investigative commission rolled out a report accusing Russia of numerous violations of global anti-doping codes.
On Tuesday, WADA temporarily removed its accreditation of Moscow's anti-doping laboratory following a recommendation from the commission.
