MOSCOW (Sputnik) –German authorities on Tuesday detained three suspects in the city of Alsdorf who allegedly participated in terrorist attacks in Paris November 13, Aachener Nachtrichten reported citing local police.
On November 13, a series of coordinated attacks at various locations in the French capital left over 130 dead and 350 injured, prompting President Francois Hollande to declare a state of emergency, increase defense spending and step up national anti-terror security.
The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility for the attacks in the French capital.
Two Belgian citizens later identified as Hamza Attou and Mohamed Amri were detained on November 14 in connection with the attacks. The Paris prosecutor's office said the following day French police had detained six suspects in the deadly attacks.
At least seven people have been detained in Brussels over alleged links to the Paris terrorist attacks.
