MANILA (Sputnik) — Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in the Philippine capital of Manila to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
Medvedev will speak there on the Business Summit, will take part in the APEC Leaders' meeting and the meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
The Philippines hosts this year's APEC. Since Thursday, the APEC summit has been underway in Manila, bringing together 21 Pacific Rim member economies, including Russia, the United States, China, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Brunei.
