MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia plans to sell $15 billion worth of weapons and military equipment this year, a high-ranking Federal Service Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) official said Wednesday.
“The plan will be fulfilled. We are on a par with last year, approximately the same,” the representative told RIA Novosti.
Russia exported $15.5 billion worth of arms in 2014.
Late last month, a high-ranking FSMTC evaluated 10-month sales at $10 billion so far this year.
