CAIRO (Sputnik) — Moscow and Cairo signed an intergovernmental deal on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Egypt earlier in the day.
"This contract concerns not only the construction, but also the supply of fuel, repairs, meaning that the total revenue will be around two times higher than the cost of construction of the nuclear power plant," Kirienko told RIA Novosti.
According to the Rosatom head, the plant will take around 10 years to build and will be in operation for around 80 years.
