MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The head of the Russia's General Staff, Army General Valery Gerasimov, discussed over the phone the coordination of the military groups' actions in the fight against ISIL in Syria with France's Chief of Staff Pierre de Villiers, Rossiya-24 television reported Thursday.
"They held a telephone conversation for about one hour, they talked about the coordination of actions between the Russian and French military groups in Syria," Rossiya-24 reported.
