PARIS (Sputnik) – During a session in France’s lower house of parliament, Valls said:
“There is a risk of terrorists using chemical or bacteriological weapons.”
The statement follows terrorist attacks in Paris over the weekend that killed at least 129 people and injured over 350. In the aftermath of the violent killings, French authorities declared a state of emergency in the country and increased nationwide anti-terror security measures.
On Wednesday, the French police concluded a special operation targeting the mastermind behind the deadly Paris attacks in the St. Denis suburb of the French capital. In total, two suspected terrorists were killed in the raid, while another seven were arrested.
