Mali Hotel Staff Member Says Hostages Taken to Underground Area
11:49 GMT 20.11.2015 (Updated: 11:56 GMT 20.11.2015) An employee from the Radisson Hotel in Bamako, Mali, who managed to escape, said that the attackers have allegedly taken the hostages to an underground area inside the building, France24 reported Friday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The employee said it was difficult to access the upper rooms, France24 said.
Earlier in the day, several gunmen took 170 people hostage in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali's capital. According to French media, at least three people have been killed by the terrorists.
