The Islamic State militants have hit back at the Anonymous hacktivist group, who launched an online campaign against the extremists, by publishing anti-hacking guidelines for Twitter users, media reported Saturday.

Just days after hacking group Anonymous declared a web war on ISIL, the fight seems to be started: hacktivists have presented three various manuals for internet users, explaining in detail how to detect and compromise terrorists’ accounts, militants responded with a pack of counter measures. - Sputnik International
Anonymous Vs. ISIL: Hackers Publish Guide on How to Fight Terrorists Online
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Anonymous group has declared a cyberwar against the ISIL in the wake of the deadly Paris attacks on November 13, threatening to expose Twitter accounts affiliated with the group and disturb their communications through spam.

According to The Independent newspaper, ISIL released online safety guidelines for its sympathizers via the messaging app called Telegram which encrypts messages.

"Do not open any kind of link unless u r sure from the source. Use vpn and change ur IP constantly for security reasons. Phones and computers. Do not talk to people u don’t know on Telegram and block them if u have to cause they are many glitches in Telegram and they can hack you by it," the group said, as quoted by the newspaper.

ISIL also called on its followers to not talk to people using Twitter direct messages and not using the same Twitter username, as "this mistake cost many Ansar they account and the kuffar published their IP so be careful."

The messages were intercepted by London’s International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation.

On November 13, at least 130 people were killed and over 350 injured in suicide bombings and shootings at a football stadium, a concert hall and restaurants in the French capital. ISIL militants claimed responsibility for the attack.
