WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — On November 13, a series of terrorist attacks in Paris claimed the lives of some 130 people. The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
“It’s probably not a question of if; it’s a question of when,” Kerry warned on NBC’s show.
In further comments, Kerry admitted that critics of the Obama administration were correct in arguing that it had not moved fast enough to fight and roll back the Islamic State.
“I don’t think anybody believes it’s happening fast enough, and we are escalating our steps,” Kerry said. “We have been focused on attacking them in Syria and Iraq, and I am convinced that will increase even more so in the days ahead.”
