SIMFEROPOL (Sputnik) – The first stage of the energy bridge between Russia's Kuban region and the Crimean peninsula will be completed by December 20, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Tuesday.

"The completion deadline for the first stage of the energy bridge across the Kerch Strait is December 20," Novak told reporters.
