"[The seven companies] are each being awarded [a]… contract for construction projects… within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Marianas area of responsibility (AOR)," the Defense Department said on Monday.

It added that the companies receiving the contracts include TAIC International Inc. in Hagatna, Guam; APC Construction in New Orleans; Fargo Pacific in Hagatna, Guam; Keum Yang Corp. in Tamuning, Guam; Reliable Builders in Tamuning, Guam; Techni-Con in Tamuning, Guam; and Tikigaq Construction in Wasilla, Alaska.
