CAIRO (Sputnik) — According to the Egyptian news portal Youm7, the vessel’s visit to Suez takes place on November 25-27 in the framework of strengthening bilateral Russia-Egypt relations.
Following the visit to Egypt, the ship is expected to move toward the Indian Ocean, according to the media.
The Admiral Vladimirsky left Russia’s Kronstadt port near St. Petersburg on November 6 in a hydrographic campaign. The ship is expected to go over 30,000 nautical miles and visit Antarctica for the first time in 30 years, before it returns to Kronstadt in April 2016.
