BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — "Yesterday, one person was detained in Brussels. They are due to appear today in front of the investigating judge who will decide on their possible arrest," the source told RIA Novosti, without disclosing the person's name and where they were detained.
The source said another individual had been detained in Verviers for questioning due to their presence at the scene during searches linked to the terrorist attacks in Paris.
Five detainees in Belgium have been charged in relation to a series of terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13 that killed 130 people and injured over 360.
