It all started a couple of days ago. Some people posted a picture of an ISIL terrorist with his face replaced with a much nicer yellow rubber duck. As it happens on the internet, after this picture appeared, other people started their own memes to make fun of the world’s presumably largest threat today. By now, the global online collection of jihadi ducks comprises over a dozen different characters.
In this picture, a bunch of extremist ducks is rattling plastic toilet brushes instead of the usual Kalashnikovs.
Here, ISIL’s flag of jihad (the war they call ‘holy,’ a claim with which other Muslims disagree) is restyled so that its Arabic-like letters clearly read ‘QUACK’.
This image portrays over a dozen angry yellow terrorist ducks, some heavily armed with grenade launchers and – again – toilet brushes. One militant appears to be defending LGBT-values, as his AK’s magazine is painted with a rainbow without the light blue color – the international symbol of homosexual people.
Islamic State fighters are rubber duckies. Allahu quackbar! https://t.co/HcfFiROcb6 pic.twitter.com/dKGgybLwK4

Here, a quack-jihadi bears the duck banner over some Syrian or Iraqi plain. Again, his weapon of choice is a toilet brush. It’s an open question, whereas his or her yellow rubber tail helps him fight common duck enemies.

On this picture, a couple of ducks changed toilet brushes for AK’s and the banner doesn’t feature a duck. A breakaway jihadi-duck faction?
Isis is way less scary when you make them rubber ducks pic.twitter.com/W3A9up5iMX

Ducks do drive tanks. At least, they’re able to stand on top of an armored vehicle.
We cannot be sure what this jihadi-duck is preaching about, but his eyes demonstrate a high level of exaltation.
Some journalists had a possibility to interview a jihadi-duck fighter, here is the transcript.

In the end, the message from the internet is quite clear: ISIL leadership can go duck themselves.
