"A crucial day is coming to an end — 48,3% 'Yes' votes in Hamburg are not enough to stay in the bidding process for the Games 2024," the bid committee said on its official Twitter account.
With Hamburg losing referendum, that leaves 4 cities in race for 2024 Games: Paris, Rome, Los Angeles & Budapest.
